Fabrics that are difficult to process or fabrics in several layers are best sewn with the top feed foot. By means of a second feed dog on the top of the foot the top feed foot supports the even fabric feed. The sewing project is moved evenly with the top and bottom feed dogs, thus ensuring a smooth sewing process.
